How are Eyelash Extentions applied?
I meticulously apply eyelash extensions ONE by ONE to your natural lashes, near the root,
but without touching the skin - this new technique is not harmful to your natural lashes.
Misencil products are all made in Canada, and are FDA approved. An average eye has
approximately 100-150 lashes, so be prepared for your first appointment to be up to 2 hours.
*Arriving to the appointment with eye makeup on may take away from the service time, please
arrive on time, with a clean face to ensure time is spent on applying eyelash extensions.

How long do they last?
On the average person, Full and Half sets : the Eyelash Extensions will ‘look good’ for
approximately 3 weeks before requiring a touch up. If you do not do a fill at this time,
they will continue to shed and completely fall off by 4 – 6 weeks. Some experience a
much better retention rate while others vary. Factors include the strength and texture
of your natural lash, your lifestyle, and the way you care for the Eyelash Extensions.

What is a fill?
Since eyelash extensions will fall out gradually along with the natural lash, clients require a “fill”, on
average every 3 or 4 weeks. A“fill” is defined by adding NEW extensions to the natural
eyelashes that have grown in since your last appt.
*Arriving to the appointment with eye makeup on may take away from the service time, please
arrive on time, with a clean face to ensure more time is spent on ADDING extensions.

How do I care for them?
The following care instructions will help you keep your extensions for as long as possible:

- Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24 hours

- No curling your lashes or applying mascara. You wouldn't need to anyways! We do
carry a mascara made especially for eyelash extensions. Please ask for details if interested.

- Try not to excessively rub your eyes, it will weaken the bonding agent which adheres the lashes

- Try not to sleep with your face down into the pillow, it will effect the staying power of your lashes.

- When showering face away from the shower head, the lashes are waterproof but not shower
head pressure proof! Try not to roughly rub your eyes when removing makeup.

- Use an oil free makeup remover along with a cotton swab to gently work around the eyes
to remove stubborn eye makeup. It's imperative to remove all eye make up at the end of the
night to avoid any eye irritations. Yikes, who wants those!

How will they feel on me?
The Classic & Russian Volume extensions feel so lightweight and natural you won't
even notice they are there.

Will they damage my natural lashes?

No. The careful application technique and medical grade adhesive are proven to be
gentle on your lashes. However, if any irritation or itching should occur, please contact
me directly.

Can I remove my extensions by myself?
If you try to remove your extensions without the proper adhesive remover, you will
probably pull out your own natural lashes! To ensure that your natural lashes won't
be damaged I strongly recommend to have a certified eyelash extensions technician
remove them.

Are those colored lashes I see?
Why yes, I carry a wide variety of colored lashes - client favorites are blue, green
and purple - I offer colored lashes at no extra charge.

I appreciate 24 hours notice for any cancellation or rescheduling - If 24 hours is not
given, a $50 surcharge will be added to your account.
